I started my career with a local structural engineering consultancy in 1997 and founded Marsh Design in 2002, driven by a passion for helping homeowners create exceptional spaces within their properties.
Outside of work, I am a long-time, dedicated season ticket holder at HTAFC. I can otherwise usually be found on the golf course or at home relaxing with my family and friends.
I am married to Dave Haigh, and we share a child called Emma.
Since 2017, I have supported the family business on a part-time basis in my role as Financial Director. Professionally, I am a qualified Nursery Nurse with over 20 years of experience. This includes managing private day nurseries and working as a Teaching Assistant at a local school while Emma was growing up.
In my spare time, I enjoy Pilates and walking with friends. I also love getting together with friends and attending live music events.
My professional journey began in Iran, where I launched my career before moving to the UK to further my expertise. It was here that I found my professional home at Marsh Design.
As a seasoned structural engineer with over 12 years of experience, I have developed extensive skills in designing steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
Beyond the technical work, I truly value the environment at Marsh Design, it has become a second home to me.
Whether I am immersed in complex structural designs or staying active at the gym, I relish every moment of my professional and personal growth.
I joined Marsh Design in 2023 after moving to the north to renovate my own home.
As a Structural Engineer, I have lead the structural design for various home renovation projects in London, including extensions, loft conversions, wall removals, and basement designs.
By leveraging a range of engineering software, I am able to ensure value engineering is integrated into every project.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, practicing MMA, and traveling to new places. I am always eager for new adventures and professional challenges.
I have worked for Marsh Design since 2021, progressing from Administrator to my current role as Business Development Manager.
Alongside Sarah and Suzanne, I help lead our office operations to ensure the business runs smoothly. We pride ourselves on working effectively together to support the team.
In my spare time, I enjoy staying active and can often be found on the side-lines of my son’s rugby games. I also recently completed a white-collar boxing program, which was a rewarding experience that raised significant funds for charity.
I have been working in the office since 2023, collaborating with Laura and Suzanne to manage all administrative tasks. It is a fast-paced environment and there is never a dull moment.
Prior to this role, I spent 18 years at the Halifax Bank Head Office and 20 years working in a local school’s office.
Outside of work, I am married and have two grown-up sons. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano and singing as part of my church choir.
I have been working at Marsh Design since 2019. I have over 15 years of experience in engineering, specialising in the design of steel modules for offshore FPSOs, oil rig platforms, and water treatment plants.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing computer and board games, cycling, and playing badminton. I also occasionally play the guitar and drums.
I joined Marsh Design in 2024. It is an amazing team, and I love being in an environment where I can continue to develop my skills every day. Throughout my career in structural engineering, I have gained valuable experience across various projects, and I am pleased to bring that knowledge to Marsh Design.
Originally from Iran and now living in the UK, I enjoy meeting new people and visiting new places. Outside of work, I love exploring cities across the UK, admiring British architecture, going on nature walks, discovering different types of cars with my husband, and trying British desserts!

I bring over 20 years of experience in customer service, having previously worked for Huddersfield Town Football Club and Huddersfield Giants Rugby Club.
Outside of work, I have two grown-up children and am a proud grandmother to two granddaughters. They keep me very busy, and when I am not with them, I enjoy baking or working on various craft projects. In my spare time, I also enjoy fine dining, attending the theatre, and taking long walks with my dog.
I joined Marsh Design in 2025 following my graduation from the University of Leeds. My interest in structural engineering began at a young age, and that early passion has led me to this role, where I look forward to developing my career and gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of projects.
Outside of work, football is a significant part of my life. I am a loyal Huddersfield Town supporter and follow the team across the country. I also enjoy managing my fantasy football team and competing with friends in our mini-leagues.
To stay active, I enjoy going to the gym, swimming, and playing padel. I also value traveling as an opportunity to explore new cities, try different foods, and experience various cultures.
